Instruction Permit (Written Test) and Provisional License (Road Test) Information and Resources
Class D Instruction Permit (Written Test) and Provisional License (Road Test) must be scheduled online through the Department of Public Safety (DVS). After passing the Written Test, schedule Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) Training with a STMA Driving Instructor by emailing: stmabtw@gmail.com. Connie Peters is the BTW Coordinator/Scheduler. In the body of the email include:
- Full LEGAL name of student (first, middle, last)
- Date of Birth
- Parent/Guardian contact name and cell phone number and/or landline number
- Student's cell phone number (if applicable)
- Date student passed Written Test
PLEASE NOTE:
- Schedule "Road Test" at least 30 days in advance
- Do not schedule the "Road Test" until you have scheduled Behind the Wheel Training hours with a STMA Driving Instructor
